About the Founder

Apalaca was founded by a Chartered Accountant qualified in May 2025, with foundational exposure across taxation, regulatory compliance, financial control, and financial market domains.

During the mandatory Articleship under the Chartered Accountancy curriculum, the Founder gained practical experience in:

Direct Taxation (DT) – primarily focused on Income Tax compliance and related regulatory matters.

Indirect Taxation (IDT) – with exposure centered around GST compliance and associated statutory requirements.

The Founder also gained corporate exposure at HSBC Bank within the Product Control & Valuation function, involving financial market oversight and structured financial instruments in the debt market, including:

  • Government Bonds
  • Treasury Bills
  • Corporate Bonds
  • Commercial Papers
  • Certificates of Deposit

Post qualification, the Founder was associated with a Chartered Accountancy firm engaged in Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, and Audit domains.

In 2026, the Founder joined HSBC as an employee in the Financial Control Department, further strengthening exposure to financial governance and reporting discipline within a global banking framework.
